Martial Arts For Children 3-6 Years Old

Why Liberty Martial Arts?

Liberty Martial Arts is proud to offer the nationally recognized ATA Tigers Preschool and Kindergarten martial arts program. This program has been developed by ATA Worldwide for children ages 3 to 6 years old. Each 30-minute high energy class includes exciting martial arts activities that help students develop their motor skills, stamina, and overall fitness levels. In addition to the physical benefits, our structured classes help develop life and leadership skills essential to success.

We know there are lots of activities available to choose from, and only 7 days in the week. As parents, it can be challenging trying to decide which activities will fit your schedule, are within your budget, will be fun, and which will be the most beneficial to your child.

Students begin martial arts training versus other activities for many reasons. Here is what parents tell us most often when they enroll their children to train at Liberty Martial Arts.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to sign a long term contract?

No, at LMA we do not require members to sign 1, 2, or 3 year contracts. All LMA agreements may be cancelled with 30 days notice using our simple online cancellation form.

Do I have to pay an extra fee for getting a new belt?

No. Unlike many other schools that charge $50-60 every two months (and up to $500 for black belt!) at LMA belt rank testing fees are included in all of our programs.

How often should I attend classes?

To receive the maximum benefit of martial arts training students should attend two classes per week.

Do I have to attend the same classes each week?

No. You may attend any two classes for your age and rank listed on our schedule.

Will my child get hurt doing martial arts?

Martial arts injuries typically happen at the same frequency as other youth sports. At LMA our staff takes student safety seriously. We offer easy to understand training, a padded workout floor, and highest quality safety equipment available.

Can my child do martial arts if they are not athletic?

Yes! Many children who don’t find success in team sports excel at martial arts. At LMA students learn at their own pace. The best part is that with martial arts, unlike team sports, your child can’t let anyone down. Everyone has a great time regardless of their athletic level.

Does my belt rank transfer if I move?

All ranks earned at LMA are recognized at all ATA Worldwide licensed schools throughout the world (Almost 1000 locations).

How long does it take to get a black belt?

It typically takes about 4 years of ongoing training to earn an ATA first degree black belt.

Will martial arts training make my child more violent?

No. We teach students self defense as a tool for personal growth. They learn respect, discipline, self control, and to treat others the way that they would like to be treated.

What Parent’s are Saying

We have two boys that participate, and they have a wonderful time. We also enjoy watching them have so much fun. Would definitely recommend!
